Pricing
Every project has its own creative and technical requirements. The prices below provide realistic starting points. Your final quote will reflect the project’s length, complexity, source materials, timeline, deliverables, and intended use. Whenever possible, I offer a fixed project price before the work begins. Your written estimate will identify the scope of work, deliverables, included revisions, turnaround time, and total cost.

Remote Production and File Delivery
I provide remote composition, arranging, orchestration, music production, audio post-production, mixing, and mastering services. Clients can submit recordings, stems, reference tracks, video files, and other project materials online. Completed work can be delivered in the formats required for recording, streaming, broadcasting, film, video, podcasting, or digital distribution.
I do not currently operate a commercial live-tracking facility. If a project requires live musicians or a dedicated recording space, remote session performers or an outside facility may be coordinated with the client’s approval. All third-party costs will be discussed before they are incurred.
Revisions
Most fixed-price projects include two reasonable rounds of revisions, with each consisting of a consolidated list of requested changes submitted at the same time. Additional revisions, major changes in creative direction, replacement source files, or work requested outside the approved scope may require an additional fee. You will always be notified before additional charges are applied.
Hourly Work and Time Tracking
Most services are quoted at a fixed project rate, but certain projects (particularly restoration, troubleshooting, attended sessions, or work involving unpredictable source material) may need to be billed hourly.
When hourly billing is necessary:
The standard rate is $85 per hour.
You will receive an estimated range before work begins.
A maximum authorized amount will be established.
Work will not exceed that amount without your written approval.
Time will be recorded using project-based time-tracking software.
Each entry will identify the date, task, and duration.
A detailed time report will be included with the invoice.
Time will be rounded only at the final project-total level to the nearest tenth of an hour.
Routine scheduling, invoicing, and administrative work are not billed.
Deposits and Payment
A 50% deposit is generally required to reserve the project and begin work. The remaining balance is due before final unwatermarked or release-ready files are delivered. Larger projects may be divided into milestone payments. Rush projects may incur a surcharge of 25–50% (depending on the requested schedule and availability).
Possible Additional Costs
Unless specifically included in your quote, the following may require an additional fee:
Remote session musicians or vocalists.
Outside recording-facility costs.
Third-party software, assets, or licensing.
Extensive audio repair or session organization.
Additional revision rounds.
Alternate mixes, edits, stems, or deliverable formats.
Rush delivery.
Expanded commercial usage or ownership rights.
All additional costs will be discussed and approved before they are incurred.
